Really enjoyed Venice, but would have liked more information on trips and times etc of ferry experience prior to departure as 4+ hr return journey excruciating after a long day. Then we had a considerable wait and walk to the buses making everyone tetchy.
Our problems began at the Jet 2 desk where we where made to pay for checking in! When the staff interrogated their computer system it appeared that e-mails we should have received had been sent to *Personal information removed by Feefo* We dialled this - it no longer exists! The hotel was barely 3* - dirty partially made rooms and no alternative, poor room service during our stay, very badly cooked and presented buffet food with no alternative dining. We both experinenced an unpleasant bout of food poisoning, presumably caused by inadequate food hygiene. No tickets or written information regarding theinclusive trips and our miseries were compounded by the total lack of representation by Cosmos within the hotel. We called Cosmos UK during working hours for assistance only to be told by an answering machine there was no help available. We look forward to hearing from you. Regards
Unfortunately the weather was really bad on our tour of Istria with pouring rain and we felt the boat trip on Lim fjord at the end of the day was a waste of time. It would even have been boring in nice weather. We didn't go on the Venice trip as we have been there before but most people who went said how good it was and what good value to was.
Very organised and value for money
The hotel and its setting were first class
