Welcome to Montréal! At 6 pm, meet your traveling companions for a welcome drink. Your Tour Director will prepare you for your upcoming winter adventure!
Enjoy a morning orientation tour of Montréal with a Local Guide. Visit the NOTRE DAME BASILICA, the first church of the Gothic Revival style in Canada. Later, board VIA RAIL and travel through the countryside to Québec City. This evening, learn more about Québec and its rich history over dinner at a traditional LF SUGAR SHACK, complete with musical entertainment and a horse-drawn BUGGY RIDE.

This morning, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour and experience the rich history, culture, and architecture of Québec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The afternoon is free to explore independently. This evening, a Local Guide to introduces you to the Québecois’ Christmas traditions brought by New France’s first settlers. Visit the German Christmas Markets and discover a magical European wonderland nestled right in the heart of Québec City. Pass by brightly decorated wooden kiosks, the perfect place to find a unique gift. Enjoy hot chocolate while listening to the local traditions and see where they come alive.

After a morning at leisure, travel to the breathtaking MONTMORENCY FALLS, one and a half times higher than Niagara Falls. Then onto the Île d’Orléans to visit a LF DISTILLERY, dating back to 1872, to sample various spirits made from blackcurrants. Return to Québec City for an evening at leisure.

Today, travel to Canada’s capital city of Ottawa. Upon arrival, visit a 140-year-old grist mill located on the banks of the Ottawa River to taste a Canadian LF TREAT, poutine (a hearty dish of fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy) accompanied by local craft beer. Then, enjoy a sightseeing tour, seeing the Canadian Mint, the residences of the Governor General and Prime Minister, Parliament Hill, and the Rideau Canal. You’ll also stop at the city’s bustling Byward Market, where you may wish to try a Canadian specialty like a Beaver Tail, a pastry stretched out to the shape of a beaver tail with toppings added. This evening is at leisure to explore more of this vibrant city.

There’s time this morning to explore more of Ottawa. You may wish to spend time at the National Gallery of Canada or explore the Canadian Museum of History. Return to Montréal this afternoon. Tonight, celebrate your winter adventure with a festive farewell dinner.
