This morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Seattle. See the waterfront, Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square and more. Later, enjoy a tour followed by a tasting at Redhook Ale Brewery. Learn it's history and how it became Seattle's largest brewery. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore independently. Don't miss the Space Needle and monorail built for the World's Fair in 1962.
Head south to historic Astoria, Oregon, located at the mouth of the Columbia River. Visit the Astoria Column for spectacular views of the city and the Pacific Ocean below. At Fort Clatsop National Historical Park, costumed guides bring to life the story of Lewis & Clark, who used the fort as their winter encampment. Enjoy some free time to wander along the waterfront, where fishing boats unload their daily catch, seals and sea lions sun themselves and charming Victorian architecture that offers a glimpse into the past. This evening, enjoy an interactive dinner made with local ingredients and complimented with some of Oregon's best beers and wines.
Today, continue exploring more of Oregon's beautiful coastline with a visit to Cape Meares State Park to see the historic lighthouse and admire incredible views of the Pacific ocean. Next, visit the Tillamook Cheese factory for a tour, samples and to enjoy a local treat. Continue to Newport where this evening, visit Rogue Brewery and learn about their sustainable brewing efforts and tour their liquor distillery and traditional cooperage. After the tour, enjoy dinner and a tasting of some Rogue's most popular beers.
Explore more of the Oregon coast this morning, continuing down scenic Highway 101. Spend time in the charming coastal town of Florence. Included is a Dune Buggy ride that descends and ascends the dunes along the ocean beach. Next, continue past orchards, creameries and vineyards before arriving into Medford.
Much of today is spent in Crater National Park. Founded in 1902, Crater Lake if the fifth oldest national park in the United States. Discover a deep blue lake created by the eruption and collapse of Mount Mazama almost 7,000 years ago. There will be time at the visitor's centre, explore historic Crater Lake Lodge or take time for leisurely hike. Later, continue to the picturesque city of Bend. There are 27 breweries to explore or enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants.
This morning, visit the High Desert Museum for a private guided tour that highlights the true Spirit of the West. Enjoy lunch and a tasting at Deschutes Brewery & Public House. Try some of the Beschutes' first beers, like Black Butte Porter or Jubalale. The rest of the is at leisure, so why not take a trolley tour or stroll along the Deschutes River? There is a Bend Brew Bus that offers a unique tour that visits four different breweries that might appeal.
Today head north, see vistas of Mount Hood that towers over the valley below at 11,239 feet. Stop for a visit to local orchard, where there is the chance to sample some of the region's delicious produce and enjoy a special treat. Next, enjoy views of the Columbia River and snowcapped peaks beyond from the Full Sail Brewing Co in Hood River. over lunch, sample their most popular creations. Continue, to Multnomah Falls, a 611 foot high roaring and awe inspiring cascade of icy water. Later arrive in Portland, the 'City of Roses'. This evening is at leisure.
Enjoy a morning tour of Portland, see some of the city's eclectic neighbourhoods, Pioneer Courthouse Square with it's famous food carts and Washington Park, home of the International Rose Test Gardens. There is also a visit a local coffee & chocolate tasting room to sample their small batch coffees and homemade chocolates. This afternoon is at leisure to further explore Portland. Don't miss Powell's Bookstore, the largest bookstore in the world. This evening join your Tour Director for a special farewell Brewers Dinner at Widmer Brothers Brewing, famous for their Hefeweizen. The Dinner includes four courses each paired with a local beer and discussion from one of the local experts.
