Journey deep into Canada’s virgin wilderness to explore Banff National Park, ride across the 1,200ft-thick Athabasca Glacier, and sail through the patchwork of Gulf Islands. Cruise across a strange and spectacular landscape of icebergs, islands and Gold Rush towns, spot Alaskan wildlife in Glacier Bay and hear the stories of the Alaska Native culture.
With accommodation, transfers, excursions, selected meals, private VIP home pick-up and the services of an expert Tour Director all included in the price, our escorted tour holidays are highly rated by our customers. But should you find a like-for-like tour cheaper elsewhere, we will match its price and give you a further £100 reduction.
You'll be picked up at home and whisked off to your departure point in a private, air-conditioned car, and we'll be waiting to take you home too.
Our private home pick-up service is included up to 50 miles to your departure airport. Your driver will happily load and unload your luggage, and drive you to your departure terminal. At the close of your trip, you'll be welcomed by your driver in the arrivals hall and returned home again. A supplement is payable per mile over 50 miles.

Fantastic, even better than imagined.
Excellent/well organised trip with terrific scenery.
The only downside are the flight connections. Not enough time is given to change flights at Heathrow regardless of what their website might say. On the outbound flight we only just made the Calgary connection, on the return flight from Vancouver only 90 minutes was given to transfer. Flight landed on time but then sat on runway for 30 minutes as there was no available gate. After running through terminals 3 and 5 we were told we were too late and had our tickets cancelled (even though flight hadn't departed). Had to spend night at a nearby hotel. If transfer flight had been booked for later this wouldn't have happened.
The lack of service on the cruise was evident and unexpected which let the holiday down slightly
Total meals included:
Fly to Calgary where you will transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
On this morning's included tour see many of Calgary's attractions including Canada Olympic Park. Then drive into Banff National Park, and the mountain resort of Banff, gateway to the majestic Canadian Rockies.
Today is at leisure to enjoy the many pleasures of Banff, one of Canada's favourite year-round resorts. Perhaps take an optional helicopter ride high over the Canadian Rockies?
Travel first to Lake Louise, its azure-blue waters a perfect natural mirror reflecting the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Precipitous gorges, snow-capped mountain ranges and lakes come into view as you head through two mountain passes. After stopping at the Columbia Icefield for an exciting Ice Explorer ride over the 1,200-feet-thick Athabasca Glacier, arrive in the picturesque resort of Jasper, for an orientation tour of the town. There will also be a chance to join an optional raft trip down the Athabasca River.
Today, join an optional excursion to Maligne Lake and Spirit Island, where you embark on a narrated cruise of the lake. The rest of the day is free to enjoy everything Jasper has to offer, from guided hikes and quaint shops to meandering wildlife.
Today, follow the Fraser River to the base of spectacular Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. The Yellowhead Highway continues alongside the mighty Thompson River with spectacular vistas of the Monashee Mountains. Overnight in Kamloops.
Enjoy more spectacular landscapes travelling through British Columbia's lush Coast Mountains to its majestic Pacific coastline. Sail across the Strait of Georgia and through the spectacular Gulf Islands, to Victoria, the provincial capital and western Canada's oldest city. The afternoon sightseeing features visits to the world famous Butchart Gardens, Bastion Square and Thunderbird Park with its unusual collection of totem poles. In the evening, how about a stroll around the lovely waterfront?
The day is yours to experience more of the many attractions this splendid city has to offer, including the Royal British Columbia Museum or whale watching on the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Today, catch the ferry back to Vancouver across the Strait of Georgia. On arrival, enjoy a sightseeing drive on the way to your hotel. See Vancouver's Chinatown, Gastown, beautiful beaches, harbour and tour Stanley Park.
Enjoy the morning at leisure before transferring to the cruise port to embark MS Volendam or MS Nieuw Amsterdam for a seven night Alaska cruise.
The beauty of the Inside Passage will amaze you as you cruise past 1,000 miles of epic scenery, towering glaciated mountains, roaring waterfalls, endless islands and virgin forests. There is also plenty of animal and marine life to look out for: sea lions, eagles and porpoises.
An afternoon arrival in Juneau, Alaska's capital. The city has a gold rush story to rival that of Klondike, and is only accessible by seaplane or boat. An optional wildlife cruise and salmon fishing will normally be available, and you'll also have the opportunity to take an optional excursion to Juneau's own glacier, Mendenhall. This impressive river of blue ice is about 1.5 miles wide and over 12 miles long!
Morning arrival in Skagway, Alaska's gateway to the Klondike Gold Rush in Canada's Yukon. Skagway was the turbulent staging point for prospectors and still has old-fashioned weathered boardwalks and old-time saloons. Optional sightseeing includes a ride in a vintage parlour car to see the White Pass and Yukon route. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore some more, before setting sail again late this evening.
Cruise into spectacular Glacier Bay early this morning, where forests give way to a rugged landscape rising to rocky peaks. Sixteen huge mountains converge to create an awe-inspiring panoramic wonder, a dramatic scene of awesome glaciers and massive icebergs. Wildlife is abundant, and you may spot eagles, seals, mountain goats, moose and bears in their natural habitat.
A morning arrival in colourful Ketchikan, situated on Revillagigedo Island and known as the 'salmon capital of the world'. Here, a picturesque harbour shelters fishing boats and seaplanes. A wide choice of optional excursions will be available, including an outing to see Indian Heritage Villages and Totem Bight State Park.
Continue cruising south along British Columbia's spectacular coastline. Animal and marine life are abundant in this area and with a little luck you may spot a pod of mighty, yet graceful killer whales.
After breakfast, disembark your ship and transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK.
