All the locations we visited were excellent and we had a very knowledgeable, friendly tour guide who took good care of us all. Hotels and food were of a good standard. The coach was comfortable and the standard of driving very high. Some sights such as the Mezquita Cathedral in Cordoba were truly exceptional, and there were some lovely surprises like the mosaics in Ekija mjuseum. We went in June and temperatures ranged between upper 20s and upper 30s, so if you don't like the heat go earlier! Low humidity makes it more comfortable, though. The Alhambra gardens are lovely but we were disappointed not to have tickets for entry into the palace. Although we were warned that this might be the case, it would have been helpful to make it in clear in advance that there is sufficient time in the schedule to visit and you can book your own tickets online. Also, the lovely white villages are only visible from the main road - the coach is too big to go into them - so don't expect to stop at them. We were also disappointed to have only 2 hours at Ronda, when we had an entire evening back at our hotel in Mijas. Ronda needs at least 4 hours, preferably longer. We would also have preferred more time in beautiful Cordoba and less in Granada. Overall the holiday was very enjoyable and we loved the range of sights, including the scenery in between the towns. It was very good value for money and we really appreciated the high level of organisation, especially the door-to-door transport. Despite the slight mismatch between the description and the delivery, we'd highly recommend this holiday for anyone wanting a good taste of Andalucia.

A little challenging on occasions because of cold/wet unseasonal weather....

A little challenging on occasions because of cold/wet unseasonal weather. We enjoyed the nights where we were able to go out for meals locally. Some of the hotel meals were just average. I can see the advantage of eating dinner at hotel if location is isolated, but if we are central then a chance to enjoy local delicacies and customs first hand. Maybe a reduction in price to accommodate this? Loved the choice of places we visited, good selection.
