Naturally, you’ll visit the Taj Mahal! We’ll take you there at sunrise – the quietest part of the day – so you can hear its stories and walk through its beautifully landscaped grounds as the sun turns the marble from gold to white.

You’ll walk the walls of magnificent ancient fortresses and magical palaces on this tour. See Emperor Humayun’s towering ancient tomb, Qutub Minar, in Delhi. Explore the majestic Rajput capital of the Amber Fort and see how these medieval rulers lived, gaze down at the blue city of Jodhpur from the grounds of its Mehrangarh Fort. In Udaipur, take a tranquil boat trip on Lake Pichola for great views of the elegant buildings of City Palace Museum, where you’ll spend time discovering its traditional miniature art.

But you’ll also get the chance to meet and mix with the locals along the way. Near Jodhpur, you’ll meet the Bishnoi tribe of Rajasthan and see how they protect the wildlife and flora of Northern India through 500-year-old traditions. In Delhi, you’ll enjoy a rickshaw ride through its bustling marketplace to soak up the atmosphere, thick with incense and delicious street food smells.

Your day begins with a visit to the famous TAJ MAHAL. This remarkable edifice was commissioned by Shahjahan as a memorial to his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, and took 22 years to build. Later, visit AGRA FORT, a colossal, red-sandstone UNESCO World Heritage Site comprising forbidding battlements and spectacular Mughal Palace with audience halls, the Room of Mirrors, and the pavilion where Shahjahan spent his last days.
