Very Low standard hotels only 2 out of all of...

29th September 2017
Trusted Customer

Very Low standard hotels only 2 out of all of them were up to standard Too many early mornings maybe there should be less places to see on way to the main destination, long stops at places that only needs at the most 1hour, a very tiring tour. We would arrive maybe 5-30pm to be told our evening meal was at 6-45 or 7pm not much time after waiting for our luggage, then told our luggage had to be outside our rooms for 6-45am the next morning and be ready to leave to leave at 7-45. The meals included were a disgrace, meal we had at The poppy hotel were pasta then spinach on a tea plate with 2 slices of beef with a bit of gravy then a piece of dry cake, at the ascot in Sorrento was pasta then aubergine with sonething else unbeatable, then again dry cake, not one of us in our group enjoyed those meals. Also the meals we paid for on certain evenings were (opptional extras) very poor the last one in Rome (the farewell dinner meal) was disgusting a dive into Rome in the evening to a restaurant which was old and not very clean food was cold wine was undrinkable!!

Still a little room for improvement in the hotel department,...

Still a little room for improvement in the hotel department, some were great but some could have been in better locations and better beds
