Fly to Seattle and transfer to your hotel for two nights. This evening meet your Tour Director and your travel companions for a welcome drink.
This morning begins with a visit to the Boeing Factory and the Future of Flight Aviation Centre. Later, return to Seattle for a guided tour including Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square and a trip to the top of the Space Needle for spectacular views of the city. This evening is at leisure so maybe visit 'Starbucks' first coffee shop, Seattle Centre or the Seattle Art Museum.
On route capture views of Mount Rainier before arriving for world famous Mount St Helens and a visit to the Volcano Visitor's Centre to learn about the dramatic eruption of 1980. Continue onto Portland, Oregon, known as the 'City of the Roses'. Dinner is at a local restaurant this evening.
Start today with a visit to Washington Park, home of the International Rose Test Gardens, followed by a city sightseeing tour. Later, depart for the beach side town of Newport, Oregon.
Depart Newport, see Heceta Head Lighthouse and Florence Old Town before arriving at the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, where there will be time to explore some of the largest coastal sand dunes in the country. Tonight, enjoy a traditional Coquille Indian Salmon Bake and learn about some tribal history while savouring a delicious dinner.
Continue south to Bandon by the Sea with its unique offshore rock formations. Then cross into California with a stop to see some of the world's tallest trees in Redwood National Park. Later arrive in Eureka, California's lumber centre, see the grand Carson Mansion, the most photographed example of Victorian architecture in the world and once the home of a West Coast lumber baron.
This morning, travel along the spectacular Avenue of the Giants, a quiet 2-lane road that winds through some of the world's most spectacular scenery with ancient Redwood Trees. Take the opportunity to see an 1,800-year-old redwood here. Continue to the "City by the Bay," San Francisco, for a 2-night stay.
Today, enjoy included sightseeing in San Francisco including Golden Gate National Recreational area, The Golden Gate Bridge and the Presidio. See Fisherman's Wharf and much more. Tonight the Tour Director hosts a farewell dinner.
