Early morning drive to experience the sunrise on what must be a highlight of the tour. Today's visit takes in one of the Buddhist world's most iconic landmarks, the Borobudur Temple. It is adorned with over 500 intricately carved Buddha statues, 100 carved gargoyle spouts and over 1,000 picturesque reliefs. Later head to Jogyakarta with short stops at the Sultan Palace and Tamansari (water castle) built in 1758.
