Escape to the mysterious beauty of Romania with an escorted tour of romantic forests and historic landmarks on an incredible Eastern European vacation. Begin your 7-night guided tour of Romania in the capital city of Bucharest where guided sightseeing features a drive along lush parks and gardens and boulevards shaded by ancient trees; and a visit to the imposing People’s Palace or the notorious dictator Ceausescu’s Spring Palace (based on availability). Visit the Carpathian Mountain perch of Peles Castle on your way to Transylvania. One of the highlights of your stay in Brasov is an excursion to Bran Castle, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula’s Castle and an included dinner on the lofty castle grounds of the former medieval fortress and royal residence. Your off-season vacation in Eastern Europe is also a great opportunity to explore the beautifully preserved citadel of Sighisoara—legendary birthplace of the notorious Vlad the Impaler, also called Dracula; the lovely towns of Sibiu and Pitesti with their elegant towers and churches and to take in the scenery of the Arges River Valley. Enjoy your travels through Romania without the crowds or prices of the busy season on this incredible Eastern Europe guided vacation.
