See the splendor of Moscow and St. Petersburg with lower prices and fewer crowds on this off-season escorted tour of Russia. Spend three nights in St. Petersburg and three nights in Moscow. Enjoy sightseeing in both cities with an expert Tour Director who will help bring this country to life with firsthand, in-depth knowledge of the country's culture, history, and secrets.

You’ll arrive in St. Petersburg to begin a 7-day adventure, learning about the fascinating culture and visiting spectacular palaces and museums. You’ll be treated to a welcome dinner with traditional Russian delicacies like caviar, blinis, pickled cucumber, and vodka.

In St. Petersburg, visit magnificent St. Isaac's Cathedral; and Catherine Palace in Pushkin, where you’ll witness the luxury and opulence of this palace built in the Russian Baroque style

A tour highlight is St. Petersburg's Winter Palace complex, previously the residence of the czars, where you’ll visit the world-famous Hermitage Museum. With one of the world's finest art collections, you’ll see celebrated works by Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci. Since the Hermitage Museum is housed in the former residence of czars, you’ll also see the opulence of a once imperial palace. Also included in Moscow are visits to the largest Orthodox Christian Church in the world, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, and the Novodevichy (New Maiden) Convent and Cemetery with the tombs of famous Russian authors, musicians, and politicians.

You'll travel from St. Petersburg and Moscow via the high-speed Sapsan train. In Moscow, your sightseeing includes Red Square, the center of the city; the Kremlin, the symbol of the city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its medieval towers, cathedrals, and palaces; and see the Bolshoi Theater. Visit the Armory Museum to admire its treasures, such as the throne of Ivan the Terrible. Enjoy a farewell dinner with Russian champagne and local specialties as a proper “dasvidaniya” to a wonderful Russia Escape!
